VMarked, LLC was established by patent professionals in 2013 with the goal of providing patent holders with a simple, cost-effective way of implementing virtual patent marking programs. Since then, VMarked has grown to become a pioneer in the field of virtual patent marking services. The VMarked platform includes several industry firsts, such as an innovative system for using virtual patent marking to enhance patent licensing efforts, Certified LoggingTM to help establish marking dates, and an Enterprise Account Management System that allows parent companies and law firms to manage virtual patent marking programs for their subsidiaries and/or clients. Brian Harris | Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder

Brian Harris is originally from Fort Worth, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000. He is currently attending law school at Texas A&M University School of Law.

Mr. Harris is a registered Patent Agent. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2001. His primary area of practice is patent prosecution.

James Walton │ Chief Counsel and Co-Founder

James E. Walton (Jim) is originally from Fort Worth, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2000.

Mr. Walton is a registered Patent Attorney. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2000. He has been a member of the Texas Bar since 2001. His other bar admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association.

William Forbes │ Chief Technology Officer

William A. Forbes III (Bill) has resided in Burleson, Texas for the past eleven years. He retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-three years as a Master Chief Aviation Electronics Technician where he led a one-thousand-plus member team of aviation specialists responsible for the international management of operations and maintenance for the global logistics arm of the United States Navy.

Bill has over fourteen years of experience as a software and database developer and over twenty-five years of experience in organizational leadership and development. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia College, Missouri in 2011 and is currently in his third year of studies at Texas A&M University School of Law.
